This Registry operates differently: it provides clear information organized by situation and region, without selling family contact information or charging referral fees. Care organizations may purchase annual listing levels, and those paid levels are disclosed on the provider information page.
The Registry is operated from Naples, Maine, and is built around Maine's five regions, its rural geography, and the real providers operating here.
The Registry provides structured public reference only. It does not:
Provider entries are compiled from publicly available licensure records, official provider websites, and direct provider submissions. Families are responsible for contacting providers directly to confirm services, current availability, geographic coverage, and financial requirements.
Registry administration is handled by email to support documentation and consistent handling of all requests. The Registry does not provide real-time referral coordination, care placement, or case management services.

The Registry lists licensed, credentialed, or established care providers serving older adults in Maine. Provider listings use no star ratings or care-quality rankings. Paid participation levels may affect listing format and placement, but they do not represent endorsement, recommendation, certification, or a judgment about care quality. Listings within the same participation level receive consistent visual treatment.
